For these clips, I created the settings and simulated the cloth for the characters in 3d Max.  The wizards had three layers

consisting of a robe, cape and a hood.  Thrommel had two layers consisting of a cape and his skirt.  Both the skirt and the

cape proved to be a challenge.  The cape did not want to stay straight on his back and while he ran his feet would keep going

thru it and distorting it.  I was able to fix both problems with changing up the cloth properties and adding different exclusions.

When Thrommel jumps and twists in the air, I had to use five different cloth settings and a lot of collision objects to get the cloth to

react normally.  Thrommels skirt posed totally different problems.  With him running, the skirt wanted to climb up his legs.

Using a heavier weight and preserves placed in certain areas I was able to control it's rise.  Also, I found a way to mix two

different cloth sims using a soft selection and a match morph.  This allowed me to also control how it reacted to his legs pushing

thru it from the front and back.  The simulations were all done to a dummy cloth object. and then a bind to mesh was applied

so that the tassels of the skirt would follow the movements of the dummy object without having to sim each tassel.  The Crone

was a challenge in herself.  Her outfit consisted of four different layers. I had to come up with totally new tricks based off from

all my other tricks.  Basically I had to use a soft selection to a bind to mesh, a point cache and then remove the bind to mesh,

use stitch, then another soft selection to a match morph, to another point cache, before I could even start cleaning it up.
